Mercy Needs Your Help!

This special girl needs our help!
The photo above is of Mercy, a female German Shepherd, who was found wandering injured and alone.
We can only guess at what happened, but it appears Mercy's back leg was caught in some type of trap. Unfortunately her only hope for escape was to chew her own leg off. A stump of bone protruded from where her right back right leg once was. We have no way of knowing how long this poor dog was trapped before desperation set in, but she's also very thin from her ordeal.
It's hard to capture Mercy's warm, loving nature in a photo, but perhaps you'll understand why we felt strongly about giving this beautiful dog a second chance. Any help toward the cost of her surgery and subsequent medical treatment is much appreciated. We'll be updating you on her progress as this girl's life gets much better! Donations can be made via PayPal (you don't need a PayPal account) or by mailing to WAG, PO Box 169, Monroe, GA 30655.
Thank You!!
