A cool, wet nose. A warm, furry lap buddy. Who doesn't enjoy the company of their pets?

Animals offer unconditional love and affection. Unfortunately, man doesn't always return the favor.

Millions of healthy dogs and cats are euthanized each year merely because fate landed them in a shelter and luck failed to find them a home. Closer to home, over 2,500 animals a year die in the Walton County shelter, waiting in vain for the chance at a new life.

But the thousands of animal lovers in our community hold the key to change.

Walton Animal Guild offers public education and strong sterilization programs to reduce the number of animals left at the shelter. Providing adoption opportunities raise the number of lucky pets leaving. Supportive programs like our pet food pantry helps owners keep their animals healthy and happy.

Together we’ll build a more caring, compassionate community where our companion animals receive the care and love they deserve.
